ABM's B-To-B Advanced Leadership Program![]() Program Overview The b-to-b media and information business faces unprecedented challenges today. These times demand that companies expand beyond traditional business models, examine all efforts to make sure they produce adequate ROI , develop a range of new products and revenue streams, question all costs, and rethink the ways their employees work in every functional area. ABM’s B-to-B Advanced Leadership Program at Northwestern University will not only provide your company’s future leaders with a high-level, cross-functional view of the media business, but will also help these executives manage cultural and organizational change in the midst of business transformation. The objective of this intensive and focused educational program is to provide participants with a strategic framework and practical tools for accelerating their company’s evolution. The program draws on three streams of expertise: Academic acumen comes from top professors at Northwestern University’s Media Management Center, the Kellogg School of Management and the Medill School of Journalism, Media, and Integrated Marketing Communications. Professional thought leadership is provided by some of the b-to-b industry’s savviest executives, who have been tested and proven successful in the areas they are teaching. The participants themselves represent the third stream as they drill into daily Action Team exercises, where they will make immediate use of what they are learning to make real-time decisions about how to structure, evolve and grow a b-to-b media business. Who Should Attend? The B-to-B Advanced Leadership Program is intended for future industry leaders and those currently responsible for finding and building new business lines and revenue streams, business and strategic planning, overseeing P&Ls, making operational decisions, driving significant change, etc. Participants are often selected by their CEO s as fast-track candidates who would benefit from a broad understanding of b-to-b industry dynamics and the skill sets needed to more effectively identify and deliver new revenues and manage the associated change. In recognition of their learning new ways to shape the future of the industry, participants will receive a certificate from ABM and the Media Management Center.
