Members make 'elite group' of trade show producers

Jan. 30, 2013 -- Trade Show Executive, which covers the event industry, has named the 2012 winners in its Fastest 50 Awards, which honors the fastest-growing trade shows in three categories. Thirteen ABM members were crowned as winners, producing 37 of the 150 shows named.
Members on the list include Access Intelligence, Advanstar, Bobit Business Media, Business Journals Inc., Cygnus Business Media, Diversified Business Communications, GLM, Hanley Wood, IEEE Media, PennWell, Randall-Reilly, The McGraw-Hill Companies and Vincentz. Winners were judged on net square feet of paid exhibit space, number of exhibiting companies and number of attendees. Trade Show Executive said the winning "elite group" grew at least seven times more than the average event growth rate in 2012.
