ABM launches digital media training program with the Laredo Group

Oct. 23, 2012 -- ABM and the Laredo Group have teamed up to launch a new digital media training program for the b-to-b publishing and media sales industry. The training program, developed in response to the growth of digital advertising in b-to-b media, features webinars aimed at providing comprehensive knowledge of the current digital advertising landscape. The partnership was announced by ABM at the Executive Forum conference today in Chicago.

The first of the two initial webinars, Fundamentals of Interactive Advertising for B2B Media, designed for sellers, planners and buyers, will provide an in-depth current industry review of ad types, trends, standards and best practices. The second course, Intermediate Digital Advertising Sales for B2B Media, is a how-to course, only for sellers and publishers, on selling all types of digital and integrated campaigns. Students will learn which media types and platforms work best for different client objectives, and how to achieve client campaign goals. The webinar builds on the Fundamentals of Interactive Advertising for B2B Media course.

The webinars are available to both members and non-members, with ABM members receiving discounted pricing. The Laredo Group is an approved training provider for the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s recently implemented IAB Digital Media Sales Certification program.
