ABM to launch new webinar training series in April
March 13, 2012 — In April, ABM will launch a monthly free Webinar training series for b-to-b professionals. The new webinar series is the latest example of ABM’s commitment to offering high quality education and training to the business media and information industry. The new webinar series complements existing programs such as ABM’s Advanced Leadership Program, an intensive five-day course done in partnership with Kellogg/Medill’s Media Management Center at Northwestern University, which preps management-level employees for the next step in their careers.
Topic-specific webinars will feature experts from the b-to-b industry and other sectors sharing actionable best practices and tutorials on subjects ranging from mobile strategies to understanding web analytics to creating exceptional b-to-b editorial.
The first webinar, called “Building a Winner: Lessons from the 2012 Neal Awards Finalists,” debuts April 18, with finalists and judges from the 2012 Jesse H. Neal Awards offering insight into creating cross-platform editorial packages that establish journalists as THE authority in their space. In May, ABM will share findings from its exclusive survey, “Brave New B-to-B: Managing Profits in a Changing Industry.” From an analysis of brands by income stream to a two-year consideration of new product investment as a percent of total revenue, this timely look at the core data of the media business will offer insights on how to boost the bottom line.
Later this year, ABM will unveil a separate, discipline-specific training series for members in the areas of sales, editorial and event management.
